Shabnaz Sadia Emi, or commonly known as just Emi, was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She was raised in a Muslim family. Unlike most girls brought up in Muslim families, Emi decided to pursue a career in fashion modeling. She started out as a model on ramp. With her curly and wild hair and blue eyes, she redefined beauty for Bangladeshi models.

Her beauty and tall physique didn’t go unnoticed on ramp; she stands tall at 5 feet and 6 inches. Soon, many companies were seeking Emi to make her pose and model for their products and brands. She has been a part of many successful advertising campaigns. She is considered one of the top most sought after models for product promotion.

Impressed by her popularity, a TV channel offered her very own show and she accepted the offer. Now, she hosts the show where she plays music and song videos for the viewers upon their request. The show is one of the most popular TV shows in Bangladesh and receives many calls from people.

Recently, Emi also tried her luck in acting. She started acting in a television drama.  Again, her fans liked and appreciated her performance. Even with her busy schedule on TV, Emi continues to model on ramp and was recently seen modeling during the Dhaka Fashion Week, one of the biggest fashion events of the country.

When asked by the media what she liked to do in her spare time, she answered back saying watching movies was her favorite leisure activity and she loves the Bollywood film, Sholay.

Ruma Kazi is a successful ramp and photoshoot model, who often graces the covers of many magazines. She was born to Kashmiri parents in Dhaka on the 25^th of August, 1988. She entered the modeling world at a young age and took the industry by storm with her exotic and almost foreign looks.

In a very short span of time, Ruma was able to become one of the top models in Bangladesh. She has become a common face on many glam and fashion magazine covers. Ruma’s beauty and popularity also brought her offers for a brand ambassador’s role for many products, which she happily accepted. Her career kept growing and she went on to do many commercials for major companies and brands like Nescafe (a brand of Nestle), Hitachi Electronics, Fanta and Warid Telecom, proving how much the audience liked seeing her on television.

Ruma has also tried her acting skills in a few dramas on TV. Her debut TV drama, Ditiyo Esthan Thake, was aired in 2008 but it failed to get much success. Ruma did not receive as much success as compared to her modeling career, so she decided to take a break from dramas. After three years in 2011, she tried to put her acting skills to a test again by acting in a Telefilm. But again, she couldn’t gain much attention on TV.

But that did not discourage her. Recently, she did an item song number in the Dhallywood movie, Rongdhonu, which was appreciated by her fans.
