Ahona, born in Chittagong, is one of the leading actresses and models in Bangladesh film industry. At a tender age of 26, she has achieved levels of success and achievement that young aspiring actors and models dream of. Ahona stepped into the limelight of the media industry when she successfully took part in a beauty pageant, Binodon Bichitra Miss Photogenic Contest 2006. With her tall height and pretty face, she managed to reach the top 5.

Shortly after, her career as a model began. Attributing to her beauty, she was the choice of many leading brands. She landed roles in popular TV commercials including Nescafe, Pepsodent, Jui Coconut Oil, Cosmos Biscuit and many other famous brands.

She also accepted acting roles in many TV dramas. Some of the successful one’s are Choita Pagla, Opekkha, Ek Polokey, O Amar Bondhu and many more. Impressed by her acting skills, she was offered her first Silver Screen role. Ahona debuted as a leading actress opposite Amin Khan, another successful Bangladeshi actor, in Rakibul Alam Rakib’s movie, Chakorer Prem in 2008. But the movie failed to win hearts of the masses and flopped.

In the year 2011, she again stepped into Dhallywood Film Industry. She signed up for a film named, Poddo Parer Parboti, by Rafique Shikder. The shooting for the movie started in January of 2012. But soon after, Ahona withdrew herself from the movie due to some reasons.

She was offered another movie project, which she accepted. She is currently working on the film. The movie’s name is Poddo Parer Parboti and is being produced by F I Manik.
